I did not know my Statistic instructor in Summer II who is very nice did his doctor thesis in Reliability. I am figuring him out using give him “a little bit hard time methodology” (stress analysis). Because of his doctor thesis I would study reliability engineering on and off on from now.
If you get marry with the right man or woman who is truly educated, intelligent, have respect to other people democracy, good communication skill, learning organization, and etc. we do not need Six Sigma and its black belt certification, FEMA, MTBF (marriage and divorce), Reliability Engineering, & etc..
As long as we use system thinking in real life we would OK.
Do we need a quality department to check our marriage or life? No.
A good company in design, manufacturing, service, or etc. needs to do tasks & service right first time and 100% correctly so we do not need a quality unit or department to fix it (fire department).
Real World Example: Elon Musk was not designed correctly by his parents in Pretoria, South Africa now million families have lost their jobs and have hard tine to live. Do we need Six Sigma on Elon Musk? No everything he does is good tactically and total failure in strategically.
