The current world record holder for the men’s 5000 meters on the track is Joshua Cheptegei of Uganda, with a time of 12:35.36, set in 2020.

Assume I have 30 students in my 5k running class and my method teaching would be:

[Below Average Students]
I would spend 25% of class time to teach students how to run a 5K as close as to 24 minutes. (8+ minutes pace)

[Average Students]
I would spend 50% of class time to teach students how to run a 5K between 18 to 24 minutes. (6 to 8 minutes pace)

[Above Average Students]
I would spend 25% of class time to teach students how to run a 5K between 16 to 18 minutes. (5+ to 6 minutes pace)

[Elite & Other Students]
I would spend outside of class time for elite & slow students who like to run under a 5k under 15 minutes. (4 to 5 minutes pace) or become better in speed or fast walking.

Each students run on the first day of class and we will have midterm run exam and final exam run. Each student grade would be based on his or her performance.

There is no competition among students because competition is enemy of learning and harmony.
