China is a dominating force or number one in design & manufacturing on batteries and electrical cars.

Chinese manufacturers overwhelmingly use lithium-ion batteries in electric vehicles, particularly lithium iron phosphate (LFP) variants, and are also leaders in developing sodium-ion batteries as a lower-cost alternative for some applications.

While they produce most of the world’s LFP batteries, they are also heavily investing in and deploying sodium-ion and exploring solid-state battery technology for future high-density applications.
