My main complaint is that the In-N-Out Burger I visited yesterday evening was unclean. Both the kitchen and eating area were not properly maintained, there were no lemons available, and the fountain drink area was dirty.
Last year, In-N-Out distinguished itself due to shift managers and the store manager transferring from California, who demonstrated strong training.
Currently, with shift managers primarily from Texas who appear less thoroughly trained and unfamiliar with systems thinking, I am concerned that the store’s standards may decline unless training is enhanced.
If store and shift managers do not demonstrate professionalism, it may be challenging to expect exemplary performance from employees.
