At Lone Star College CyFair, I was unable to register due to an error message, so I went to another campus, where an excellent and dedicated advisor helped me resolve the issue.
I registered for MATH 2413 Calculus I for Spring 2026, but I couldn’t sign up for MATH 1316 Trigonometry in Summer I 2026 because I hadn’t completed MATH 1314 College Algebra, as required by the registration system.
Although I completed Trigonometry (MATH 1316) in Spring 2025 and earned a āCā, Lone Star College does not have a record of that grade. The advisor at the other campus said they would update my transcript so I can register for MATH 1316 Trigonometry independently, without needing College Algebra.
We can take a class twice for $333 (the in-district tuition rate per course), but the third attempt costs $333 plus a $180 repeat course fee. I am unsure about the details of this repeat policy and will confirm with advisors at three campuses.
