On the first day of the Fall 2024 semester at Lone Star College CyFair, I encountered a slow and frustrating process of obtaining my ID.
When I finished the required steps and went to the woman in charge of issuing IDs, she did not process my request and instead told me to speak with the International Student Office because I had an accent. This made the ID process even more difficult for me.
Cypress, Texas, has a history connected to Native American communities, which I value. If I were wealthy, I would establish an excellent school for Native Americans to support their pursuit of outstanding success.
The American education system was considered the best in the world before the Reagan era. Reagan and Bush have destroyed our education system.
We do not attend school solely to increase earnings. We seek to become well-rounded citizens, not just skilled workers.
