When we rely solely on our vision system to think and make decisions (the apprentice thinking system), we are failing strategically.
The HOA president at Fairfield Village in Cypress, Texas, informed me that over ten years ago, employees of FirstService Residential Inc. (two of whom have since been terminated) suggested that I looked like I was from the Middle East. They labeled me as aggressive and even called me a terrorist.
We must be seen as uneducated because we struggle to manage our community effectively. Despite this, we pay $1.2 million annually to FirstService Residential Inc. to oversee a community whose landscaping becomes less appealing every year.
I am still unable to go to the HOA office to pay my fees, so I called the constables to arrange for them to receive my check.
When confronted with racist and uninformed individuals, please do not waste your time trying to educate them; let them remain as they are for the rest of their lives.
