Wars and Violence are against Humanity

As a child, I was deeply affected by the sight of Nguyễn Ngọc Loan executing Nguyễn Văn Lém. Witnessing such inhumanity, the act of one person taking the life of another, shook me to my core and shattered my belief in the court and justice.

Since that moment, I have harbored a deep-seated aversion to violence and wars, recognizing them as not just unproductive, but as global scourges that inflict untold harm on our world.

Nguyễn Ngọc dies in Burke, Virginia, USA.

For many reasons, I choose to limit my interactions with those who participate in wars and those who immigrate from war-torn regions. This is not a decision made lightly, but one that stems from a deep-seated belief in the need to break the cycle of violence and promote peace.
