I was working on the elevator controller wires when I accidentally cut a wire, causing the elevator to stop. Olis was in it alone, underscoring the need for better safety protocols.
The school called an ambulance and spent an hour opening the elevator door, highlighting the serious safety risk and the need for immediate replacement.
Olis was taken to Ben Taub Hospital for the fourth time this semester, and Olis was released after 2 hours and is OK.
This school has the best library, but its elevators are outdated and pose safety risks. We need to reroute some funds from the Middle East and Ukraine to replace these obsolete elevators.
