To build a strong, modern community, we must make sure every child learns the basics: reading, writing, math, following rules, respecting others’ property, and speaking clearly.

Greyson Erp, a former neighbor, recently visited our front yard with a group representing Generation Z.

However, I question whether constables, HOA members, FirstService Residential, Bridgeland High, and residents truly support and focus on the main community goal of helping all children build these basic skills.

Although I can communicate and educate Generation Z members outside my class, my inability to do so effectively within my classroom highlights a struggle in reaching the community goal for every student.
