The instructor requested that Olis approach the board to calculate the mean, standard deviation, variance, and additional statistical measures. As Olis commenced the calculations, stray cats part of the sample data bit his fingers, hindering his ability to write.
Consequently, the instructor contacted emergency services, and Olis was transported to Harman Hospital. He is currently in stable condition and recovering.
It is advisable to exercise caution when collecting data on stray cats’ weight and to continue exploring best practices in statistical analysis.
