We do not recommend US corn to our rat people for the following reasons:
1. Genetically Modified Organism (GMO) Seed.
2. No Traceability from seed to final production.
We are importing corn from Brazil and Canada at a price $1 higher per bushel than US corn because above reasons.

The unit of measurement for corn is typically a bushel, which is a dry measure equivalent to 56 pounds (25.4 kg) of shelled corn. Farmers use bushels to measure the quantity of grain and its yield per acre.
