When I attended university for the first time 48 years ago, we did not have a Student Success department; now, we have them in every college and university.
If I go to school for 12 years, I must be prepared for college; otherwise, I will not have a department that treats me as a handicap for different reasons.
Most of these Students Success department director who have PhD in education need to take basic math and thinking system classes and use them at their works.
