English must be the official global language.

Based on my experience working and living in Norway for a short time, everyone born in or outside Norway must be able to speak Norwegian and English as their primary and secondary languages.

Learning two languages —Norwegian and English —is a practical and achievable goal for everyone, unless you have specific reasons, such as frequent international travel. And that’s perfectly fine.

The USA must provide basic English reading and writing education, along with fundamental laws. This is to ensure that individuals, regardless of their background, are not inadvertently breaking the law due to a lack of understanding, thereby promoting a more just and inclusive society.

The lack of an official language in the US, except for Oklahoman, is a concerning issue. It’s a story of missed opportunities for cultural and linguistic integration. We risk becoming a nation where one can live with their own religion, language, and culture, without ever truly understanding the country they live in.
