Smart Racoon,

Olis school has old elevators that are very slow and lack an innovative controller system, so it takes a long time to go from the 1st floor to the 8th floor.

As a school, we have a responsibility to promote healthy habits among our students. The school installed a sign to motivate students to use stairs to lose weight because some of them are really out of shape. However, the current elevator situation is hindering our efforts in this regard.

Olis used the stairs to go from the 1st floor to the 6th floor before going to class, and he used the stairs after the class, but failed and hurt himself.

Olis’s unfortunate incident is a stark reminder of the potential dangers of our current setup. The ambulance took him to Ben-Taub Hospital, where it was found that his nose and a few fingers of his right hand were broken. With an upcoming exam on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, and his current average grade of ‘F’, it’s crucial that we take immediate steps to ensure the safety of our students.

Replacing the elevator will provide a safer, more efficient means of transportation for our students. This is particularly important as most Generation Z students are not as conscientious about exercise as they should be. The new elevator system could encourage them to be more active and promote a healthier lifestyle.
