Norm Kober is very friendly, pleasant, and honest, and operates two Chick-fil-A stores in Cypress, Texas. Olis told Norm Thanks a lot for doing the right thing and bringing him back. Olis has learned a lot from Roberto. Life is about learning.

Norm Kober’s parents are originally from Ukraine, the USSR, or Russia. This background likely influenced Norm’s open-mindedness and curiosity when he was on vacation in Russia and saw Olis cleaning streets. He asked Olis if he was on vacation or had left Cypress, Texas, out of genuine interest.
Olis shared with Norm the valuable lesson he learned from his employee, Roberto, who told Olis that he complained about the USA and needed to go back to where he came from. This experience taught Olis the importance of appreciating what we have and not taking it for granted.
Olis was deported to Guatemala and Finland in 2025 with his American passport, and he returned. Olis was deported because of his English accent.
