An informed community does not need an HOA or FirstService Residential Inc."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Before buying a house in any community, please do research on the HOA and property management company.<br><br>If you care about these issues but your husband focuses only on the house, you both may face long-term problems if the HOA or property management is not satisfactory.<br><br>FirstService Residential Inc. has been a challenging entity to deal with. I have had to involve the authorities just to pay my HOA fee.<br><br>There are no term limits, and the treasurer is unfamiliar with the current budget.<br><br>To understand a community, learn about its HOA. I believe my community is poorly managed, and I view Bridgeland as even more poorly managed.<br><br>No matter where we live, we must fight for our rights.
