Last year, I took two online classes as part of the Certificate in Modern Women Series at Florida University Online.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the second class, I was introduced to the art of public speaking through a video featuring a man named London and a woman from New York who has lived in Houston for three years and works as a paralegal. This was a crucial part of my academic journey, as effective communication is a key skill in the modern world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Unfortunately, I found it difficult to concentrate during this part of the video. The woman’s accent and her unique style of speaking, which I found amusing, became a distraction. I recall her using profanity when she left the London Lambo or the Bambo SUV after London did not give her $1000 as a charity gift. This distraction ultimately led to my poor performance in the course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Receiving an ‘F’ in the final exam and the course, and being suspended from school for two years, was a turning point for me. It was a wake-up call that led to significant personal growth and learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
